Chemical manufacture.

Purification of organic and inorganic chemical intermediates.

Activated carbon in all its forms (extrudate, powder, granule) is used extensively in wide-ranging applications in the chemical industry.

CECA regularly develops new solutions to fulfil the specific requirements of individual applications.

  • Catalyst
  • Glycerin
  • Mineral products
  • Organic synthesis
  •  …

Acids :

Activated carbon is used to purify both organic acids and mineral acids (hydrochloric acid, phosphoric acid). Depending on the degree of purity required and the impurities to be removed, we have the right grade for your specific needs.

Catalyst :

Catalysis is a particularly advanced field that requires tailor-made products, in particular for precious metal catalyst supports, which CECA has developed jointly with its global partners.

Our products feature outstanding characteristics in terms of:

  • constant parameters
  • filtrability
  • purity
  • surface chemistry

Our catalysis expertise also covers the synthesis of phosgene and the trimerisation of cyanogen chloride for example, in addition to precious metal support.

Oleochemicals :
Glycerin is often decolorised and / or deodorised before its end-use.

CECA offers powder or granule products adapted to the decolorisation or deodorisation of this substance.
We also offer tailor-made solutions for one-step decolorisation and deodorisation.
