CECA opens an office in Algeria.
Paris, 12th December 2007
CECA, a subsidiary of the ARKEMA Group, has today announced the opening of a liaison office in Algiers, Algeria, with a branch office in Hassi Messaoud. The new liaison office, manned by 7 people, will be run locally by M. Toumert BENNACER. This new structure is part of the development of the Oilfield Chemicals business in Algiers.
" CECA's official presence in Algiers is for us a very important step in our efforts to offer a reactive organisation for our customers in Algeria. CECA has been active in Algeria for over 30 years as a supplier of additives to the oil and gas industries, as well as on-site technical support " explains Christophe COUESNON, Director of CECA's Oilfield Chemicals. " It was vital for us to have a reactive structure allowing us to fulfil the needs of our Algerian partners, in particular by opening a laboratory in Hassi Messaoud for the product application as well as to improve our ability to capitalise on market opportunities in Algeria".
